Khemo Khadet +// is a 1991 Arabian sired by the legendary Khemosabi++++// and out of a Port Bask daughter. Khemosabi was a U.S. and Canadian National Champion Stallion and U.S. and Canadian National Champion Western Pleasure winner. He has sired over 320 champions and 88 National winners in halter and performance.

Port Bask was the leading sire of Champions by *Bask++, "Sire of Significance", Sire of 110 Champions, his get have won 15 National and Top Ten Awards. Eight daughters have produced National winners.

Khemo Khadet started his show career as a Western Pleasure horse. In 2002, he was Region V Champion Western Pleasure AAOTR 18-39 and Reserve Champion Ladies Sidesaddle Open.

In 2004, his owners were fortunate enough to have trainer Lindsey Anderson-O'Keefe come into their lives. She instantly saw Khadet's potential as a dressage horse. After some convincing, she started riding him and they have never looked back. In his first year showing as a sport horse, Khadet was SHN Reserve National Champion Sport Horse Under Saddle Open (56 entries) and Reserve National Champion First Level Dressage Open (40 entries)

Since then, Khadet has climbed through the levels with success . In 2006, he was Region V Champion Prix St. Georges , Champion Fourth Level Dressage Open and Champion Show Hack Open.

Khadet possesses the breeding that would be an asset to any breeding program. He has an amazing work ethic and loves to please. He also passes on his very willing disposition to his foals. In 2006, his son Khydd Rock was SHN Top Ten HA/AA Sport Horse 2 year old Geldings In-Hand Jackpot.

Watch for Khadet at SHN this year in Prix St. Georges with Lindsey and Show Hack Open and ATR with his owner Heidi Tilden-Kellem.
